ABOUT THE THEATRE
The Savoy Theatre is situated in London's West End and is home to Paddington The Musical. The 1,191 seat theatre has been in existence since 1881 and has played host to a succession of West End shows including Oscar Wilde’s Salome, Noel Coward’s Blithe Spirit and in recent years popular hits such as Dreamgirls and 9 to 5 Musical.
The Savoy Theatre made history when it opened as it was the first ever building to be entirely lit by electricity. The current building is from a design in 1929 in a glorious Art Deco style. Following a fire in the 90's the management had to restore the building as per the 20s style which makes it such a beautiful theatre to attend
