The Star Studded Les Mis Concert

17 Aug 2019

For 16 weeks only, the Gielgud Theatre is the home of Les Miserables All-Star Staged Concert! The show debuted on Saturday 10th August and performances will go on 8 times a week until Saturday 30th November.

The star-studded event re-proposes the spectacular staging of the legendary 10th Anniversary concert at Royal Albert Hall in 1995 and the 25th Anniversary concert at the O2 in 2010. Led by Michael Ball as Javert and Alfie Boe as Jean Valjean, with John Owen-Jones playing the role three times a week, the cast includes all of Les Miserables favourites, past and present. The list is long from Carrie Hope Fletcher as Fantine to Matt Lucas and Katy Secombe as the Thenardiers, from Rob Houchen returning as Marius to Bradley Jaden playing Enjolras. Eponine will be played by Shan Ako and Lily Kerhoas will play Cosette.

The staged concert is un unmissable event that fills the hiatus between the closure of the original production of Les Miserables at the Queen’s Theatre for the refurbishing of the venue and its reopening in December 18th with a new production of the show in what will now be called the Sondheim Theatre.
