Phantom of the Opera New Cast

The Phantom of the Opera has just welcomed its 2019/2020 cast at Her Majesty’s Theatre! The new cast led by Australian singer and performer Josh Piterman debuted on Monday 9th September as the Phantom is about to enter its 34th year in the West End! Josh Piterman makes his West End debut as the Phantom after a brilliant career in Australian musical theatre, his credits including Tony in West Side Story, Jamie in The Last Five Years and Gerry Goffin in Beautiful – The Carole King Musical. Britt Lenting is also making her West End debut in the role of Carlotta Giudicelli, as Richard Woodford (We Will Rock You, Les Misérables) joins the cast as Monsieur André. Kelly Mathieson continues in the role of Christine Daaé as Bridget Costello is now the alternate Christine. Danny Whitehead takes over the role of Raoul from Jeremy Taylor. The Phantom of the Opera is now booking until 4th April 2020 and is London longest running musical after Les Misérables, having opened on 9th October 1986. Andrew Lloyd Webber’s masterpiece features some of musical theatre most beautiful songs such as “The Music of the Night”, “The Point of No Return” and “All I Ask of You”. See the new cast in action.
