Tall Stories' magical musical adaptation of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s The Gruffalo returns to the Lyric Theatre with its tale of a creature with turned-out toes and a poisonous wart at the end of his nose.
Based on the award-winning picture book, The Gruffalo tells the story of Mouse as she embarks on a daring adventure through the deep dark wood in the search for hazelnuts, encountering the cunning Fox, the eccentric old Owl and the party mad Snake and outwitting them all with the story of the fabled Gruffalo. Armed with only a nut map and a little courage Mouse must make sure she doesn't end up as dinner for these wily woodland creatures.
Combining music, comedy, physical theatre and just the right touch of scary fun, the production promises a smashing day out for all the family.
The show is suitable for children aged three-years-old and older.
