Award-winning musical The Bodyguard returns to the West End this summer for a strictly limited season, starring soul singing sensation Beverley Knight.
Having previously appeared at the Adelphi Theatre in 2013, the hit show, based on the popular film, sees secret service agent Frank Farmer hired to protect superstar singer Rachel Marron (Knight) from a threatening stalker.
Determined to stick to the task at hand, Farmer finds himself conflicted after he breaks his one key rule – by accidentally falling in love with her.
Featuring soulful classics such as “I’m Every Woman”, “How Will I Know”, “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” and “One Moment In Time”, an unforgettable musical soundtrack awaits.
Directed by Thea Sharrock, the show has recently been touring the UK with Alexandra Burke in the lead role, accumulating multitudes of plaudits along the way. Now due to arrive at the Dominion Theatre, the production will play a six-month season, doubtlessly to blow away many more audiences to come.
