Jersey Boys is the sensational, award-winning musical that tells the incredible story of one of the most successful rock ‘n’ roll bands of all time. The musical, which has been seen by more than 20 million people worldwide, has won 55 major awards worldwide, features music by Bob Gaudio and lyrics by Bob Crewe Jersey Boys is presented in a documentary style format that draws you into the heart of the story, where you’ll find out how the band was formed, how they invented a new sound and how they found fame and fortune against all the odds. Jersey Boys is the true-life story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. The musical is split into four ‘seasons’ and each segment is narrated by a different band member. The first segment is spring and Tommy De Vito introduces himself and invites the audience to join him as he begins to tell his part of the story. The next season is summer and Bob Guadio takes over as the narrator where he contradicts some of what Tommy De Vito has said about him. Nick Massi narrates the fall section and this is where tensions rise as the band start to fall apart. The final section, summer, is narrated by Frankie Valli and in the finale, Bob Crewe wraps up the story with an anecdote. All four members of the group then return to the stage to address the audience. Jersey Boys features plenty of the Four Season’s hits including ‘Walk Like a Man’ ‘Beggin’, ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’ and ‘Rag Doll’. ‘This production is in a class of its own!’ - Sunday Telegraph, Tim Walker ‘Great tunes keep coming, each brilliantly sung’ - London Paper, Ben Dowell

The show itself is always very uplifting. The music is superb. However it does depend on who's playing the lead to what level of excellence you may or may not witnesses. This years cast have not been the best casting I have seen but a few always stand out. Jon boydon, Nicola Brazil plus the outstanding Ben Jennings playing the lead is just a perfect show! Not a fan of the other Frankies very average for me. So the key is too try and pick your favourite before you book.

Oh, What a Night!

I love this show! Jersey boys tells the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons in their turbulent rise to fame. Full of comedy, fabulous dance routines and incredible music, this is one of my all time favourite shows. The cast at the moment are spectacular and Michael Watson as Frankie is an absolute star. I've seen the show five times now and I've seen it rise and fall, but at the moment they are on top of their game! Don't miss out!

Superb show with brilliant music.very up lifting that has you humming long after show has finished. Michael Watson has greatly improved since last year in the role as frankie. He's not the best I've seen but can get through the show. He doesn't seen a natural performer. His acting and dancing are very wooden. Vocals are ok. Shows always cast the best when opening then get actors who fit the role for cheaper wages so the show runs longer. Seen it happened so many times now.
