Based on the short novel Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption by Stephen King, this iconic story inspired the ever popular film and is adapted by Owen O'Neil and Dave Johns, and directed by Peter Sheridan. Andy Dufresne is convicted of murdering his wife and her lover and is sent to the notorious Shawshank Prison to serve two life sentences.
